Remanufactured Fitness Equipment is a cost effective alternative to buying new. It is also more durable, has a longer lifespan and is more aesthetically appealing than used equipment. Unlike “refurbished” equipment, remanufacturing is an extensive restoration process that makes the finished product virtually indistinguishable from brand new. All parts/components used meet or exceed OEM specifications.
Treadmills
Treadmills are tested for function and are then broken down to the bare frame. Drive and lift motors are sent to an independent motor house for evaluation and will be remanufactured or replaced to OEM specifications. All electronics are inspected. Components such as non-functioning LED’s, capacitors, etc. are replaced. Touch and telemetry heart rate components are repaired or replaced. Rubber hand grips, as well as any damaged or missing end caps are replaced. Frames are re-painted, new graphics are applied and specific wear components are replaced (i.e. walking belts, drive belt and deck and electronic overlays). The machine is then completely reassembled and tested for proper function.
Steppers, Bikes, & Ellipticals
Steppers, Bikes, & Ellipticals go through the same basic process as treadmills. In addition, internal batteries, pedals and pedal straps, crank arm bearings and sprockets are replaced.
Strength equipment
Strength equipment is tested upon arrival for functionality and then disassembled. Each frame member is individually sandblasted and heated to 1800 degrees F to further remove existing paint. Any paint remnants are then sandblasted off and the frames are annealed to restore the original tensile strength. Next, the machine is chemically etched and powder coated. This is vastly superior to any process utilizing a liquid paint. The machine is then reassembled, replacing all pulleys, cables, bearings and bushings as required. Seat pads and upholstery are replaced. All graphics are replaced. Standard frame colors are white, black, and platinum silver (custom colors are also available at an additional cost). The machine is then fully tested, palletized and shrink wrapped for shipping.
